Gemini Live And AI Overviews Go Indian

Gemini Live voice feature is available for free on Android and soon users can try it out in Indian languages like Hindi, Gujarati, Bengali, Kannada and Malayalam among others. For AI Overviews, Google is starting with Telugu, Tamil, Bengali and Marathi for now with more likely to be added in the near future.

AI Goodness In Maps

Maps will soon use the power of AI to help you with the best-rated restaurants or cafes by summarising the reviews and making lives easier for the user. The AI tech will also be utilised for image recognition which makes the Maps experience more visually rich.

UPI Circle For Safer Google Pay Payment

Google Pay will soon let you make a UPI Circle and help your parents or aged people make UPI payments without creating an account and using the app. You can link the primary UPI account and share it with family members, allowing them to pay digitally with your control and payment settings.

Google To Fight Online Frauds In India

The company is setting up the Google Safety Engineering Center (GSEC) in India which will be working with the government to fight online scams and build tools that can protect the online users.

AI Skills House For Training

Google is offering free access to its flagship AI courses available on YouTube and Google Cloud Skills Boost. The company is also using AI tech to develop an AI tutor that can help kids with basic reading and writing skills.
