Xiaomi 14 Ultra has been unveiled in China ahead of its global debut later this week. The Ultra series has shown the brand being serious about flagship devices that can rival the Google and Apple’s of the market. The new Ultra phone from Xiaomi features the Leica-powered cameras that have been co-engineered by the brand. You also get the new HyperOS platform out of the box, which is claimed to be a refined version of MIUI.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra Price in China
Xiaomi 14 Ultra has been priced at RMB 6,499 (Rs 74,900 approx) for the base variant of 12GB and 256GB storage. The model goes up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage that costs RMB 7,799 (Rs 89,900 approx).
Xiaomi 14 Ultra Launch: Will It Come To India?
That’s the million dollar question that everyone is eager to know from Xiaomi. Will the new 14 Ultra launch in India this year? Initial signs hint at the brand now being more serious about its premium segment in the country and the Xiaomi 14 launching early next month proves that. However, having a Xiaomi phone in the 1 lakh bracket might be too rich for the company in a market where it still has phones in the sub-30,000 range. We are happy to be proven wrong, but would rather wait for the brand to share some details on its future plans.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra Features
Xiaomi 14 Ultra gets a 6.73-inch OLED display with LTPO panel and a 120Hz refresh rate screen with 3000nits peak brightness. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage this year. You get it with the new Android 14-based HyperOS version out of the box.
But like with every Ultra phone from Xiaomi, this one also has the cameras as the highlight feature. You have a quad-rear camera setup that includes a 50MP 1-inch sensor, a 50MP telephoto sensor, a 50MP telephoto zoom lens and a 50MP ultra-wide sensor. The 14 Ultra packs a 5,300mAh battery that supports 90W wired charging speed and 80W wireless charging upgrade for the device this year.
