Apple MacBook Air M1 Model Is Not Dead! This Retailer Keeps It Alive For Buyers

[ad_1]

MacBook Air M1 model is available in countries like India, even though the company has discontinued the version from its official lineup. But it seems the Air M1 variant has got a new lease of life in the US market, thanks to popular retailer Walmart.

That’s right, people in the US who are still keen on picking up the M1 Air model, can do so by heading over to a Walmart store or online site, and get the older MacBook Air at an appealing price.

Apple has partnered with Walmart to sell the defunct MacBook Air M1 model, which is a first for the company in its home market. The official partnership also means that people buying the MacBook Air M1 from the retailer will get full product support and service from Apple.

The most appealing part about the sale of MacBook Air M1 through Walmart is that people in the US can buy it for just $699 (Rs 56,000 approx), which is similar to the MacBook Air M1 price in India through various online channels these days. The fact that people can get an unboxed MacBook Air M1 model in the US for a fraction of its launch price, should definitely get more people to pick up the Macs, which not only helps Apple to increase its sales numbers but also clear up the old MacBook M1 Air inventory.

Having said that, the MacBook Air M1 is still a very capable machine, even though Apple has now moved to the M3 silicone with the latest MacBook Air that has come out recently.

The MacBook Air M1 is more than three years old at this point. However, the laptop still holds up well to today’s standards, especially when considering battery life and performance. You can edit 4k video on it as long as you don’t have heavy layering or graphics work to do, and you can also do image editing in apps like Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.

Apple also released its first-ever 15-inch MacBook Air model this year, giving consumers more options from its lineup.

The company clearly realises the value of its older models, something it has done really well with the iPhone models in countries like India, where the older iPhones tend to outsell the newer models.
