iQOO’s new mid-range phone looks to battle other quality devices with the use of a powerful chipset and offering Android 14 out of the box.
iQOO has launched its new so-called flagship killer device in the Indian market this week, which looks to challenge other brands and give buyers new options. The iQOO Neo 9 Pro is using one the recent flagship chipset and offers it for an appealing price in the country. The company has also decided to mix up things by reducing the bloatware on the device, which could easily work in its favour.

iQOO Neo 9 Pro has launched in India at Rs 35,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model, Rs 37,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant and Rs 39,999 for the 12GB RAM model. The phone is available for people who pre-ordered earlier.

iQOO Neo 9 Pro features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate. The device uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with up to 12GB RAM for performance. The company is offering the Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14 version that now loses bloatware which means people will see less ads pop up on the screen. iQOO will offer 3 OS updates, and 4 years of security updates for the device.
The features are being nicely packaged in a vegan leather design with a dual-tone colour finishing. The phone weighs around 190 grams after packing a 5,160mAh battery which is quite impressive.
Coming to the imaging specs, the iQOO Neo 9 Pro comes with a dual-rear setup, which includes a 50MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. The front of the phone gets a 16MP shooter. The built-in battery supports 120W charging with the adapter bundled in the box.
